One address for everything: support@clavarius.com. A person answers.
Reporting a problem
Include:
- macOS version and the app version (Clavarius menu, About).
- Whether the Helper is running (the Helper status in Settings).
- What you did, what you expected, what happened.
- The log, if you are willing to share it:
~/Library/Containers/com.clavarius.mac/Data/Library/Application Support/AlwaysOnTop/AlwaysOnTop_Debug.log. It contains no clip content, but read it before sending.
Security reports: put "security" in the subject. See the threat model for what is in scope.
Questions people ask
Why two apps?
The window is sandboxed; the Helper is not. Anything outside the sandbox (running a plugin's Python backend, opening a file in Finder, installing an update) goes through the Helper. Without it the window still works, minus those parts.
Does it work without an account?
Yes. An account is needed only to sync with another device. Local use makes no network calls except a daily version check.
Where is my data?
In ~/Library/Containers/com.clavarius.mac/ on the Mac. On the relay only sealed envelopes, deleted after delivery. See the privacy policy.
How do I delete my account?
Settings, Sync, "Delete account", with your password. The relay data is purged first, then the account. Or write to support from the address on the account.
I lost my devices. Can you restore my data?
With the recovery code from "Migrate to device key": yes, on a new device. Without it, and with no device that still holds the key: no one can, including the operator. See the threat model.
The AI tab says the agent is missing.
The tab runs the agent CLI installed on the Mac: Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI, chosen in Settings, AI. It needs Node 22 or later; an older Node is the usual cause. Sign-in is the vendor's own, in that CLI, with your account.
Can I get the iPhone app?
It is in TestFlight. Write to support with the email of your Apple account for an invite.
Ordering a plugin
Write what the tab should do, in your own words: what it shows, what it captures or connects to, what you want to happen on each action, and on which of your devices it should run. You get back a written scope and a price; work starts after you approve both. You own the result; it runs in your copy of the app on the same layout as the built-in tabs.
